The short version
Your images are never uploaded. Conversion happens inside your browser tab. We have no server that receives files, no storage bucket, and no way to see what you convert.
Images and files
Files you select are read locally using the browser’s File API. Decoding and encoding happen in memory. Nothing is transmitted. Closing the tab discards everything.
Analytics
We use cookieless, aggregate analytics to count page views and see which converters are used. This data does not include filenames, file contents, or any identifier that persists across sites. No advertising cookies are set, which is why you do not see a cookie banner here.
Local storage
The site may cache its own assets (including the WebAssembly decoder) in your browser so repeat visits are fast and offline conversion works. You can clear this at any time from your browser settings.
Third parties
The site is served as static files from a CDN. The CDN processes standard request logs (IP address, user agent) to deliver content and protect against abuse. We do not sell or share data, because we do not collect personal data to begin with.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the home page.
